Moor Allerton Golf Club Hole 8

A long par 5 that needs to be played with care as it is narrow and has an OOB all down the right side. The ideal tee shot is just left of centre with a gentle fade to counteract the fairway’s left to right camber. Whilst long hitters can ‘have a go’ the percentage play is another gentle fade, leaving a medium to short iron into the green. Whilst the green is relatively flat, there is a fall off on the left and at the back so, again, a faded approach shot may be the safest option.
