Moor Allerton Golf Club Hole 1

A tough opening hole where your drive ideally should be played left of centre to allow the natural contours to take your ball right on landing. The second is equally testing over a big hollow to a green that is long and narrow and that slopes steeply from back to front. Players tend to be short with their approach – do not be fooled; it plays its length – especially if the pin is cut at the back of this long green.
