With modern work & family time constraints appearing to be a barrier to golf membership of traditional 18 hole golf courses, here are Moor Allerton we are different. Having 27 holes designed as three distinct loops of 9 we have the perfect formula. All our first tee’s on each loop start at the clubhouse, with each 9th green also finishing at the clubhouse it is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of that spare 2 hours you can squeeze from your schedule!
Whether your enjoyment is purely social or whether you are a fan of competitive golf a warm welcome awaits you. If you are new to the game or it’s the first time you are considering joining a club as a member or you are looking to change clubs – everyone is welcome, and don’t worry – there is no stuffy committee meeting to sit through… It’s not a job interview!
The three loops of nine (Lakes: holes 1-9, Blackmoor: holes 10-18, High: holes 19-27) combine to create three full 18 hole courses. Quite simply, members of Moor Allerton Golf Club play more golf virtually unrestricted without having to book a tee time most of the time.
We operate a full equality policy and are an open and inclusive golf club. We’ll make sure you have as much contact with other members as you wish so that you can quickly find playing partners to make sure you get the most from your membership.
The club has four thriving sections, Mens, Ladies, Rabbits & Juniors so we cater for all groups and ages of golfer.
For the more competitive player we have a fully loaded season of competitions – in excess of 35 competitions, many Order of Merit / Honours board competitions where your name may well be immortalised forevermore, and we run our own season-long competition – the Maurice Bott which is a similar format to the American ‘Fed-Ex Cup’ or the European ‘Race to Dubai’ where each competition throughout the season qualifies for points. The top 60 players are entitled to play in the final where they can try to win this most prestigious prize.
Being a member also entitles you to enter our Thursday night roll-up, spanning approximately 12 weeks over the summer period, an eclectic competition which is very popular, and a fantastic way to meet other members.
