Caddie and sports speaker Billy Foster, also known as ‘The Pro’s Pro’, is heading to Moor Allerton on Thursday 4th April.
Billy became a full-time caddie in 1983, has caddied in 10 Ryder Cups and has been part of some of golf’s greatest moments. Seve’s victory in the 1991 PGA Championship and Darren Clarke’s victory over Tiger Woods in the final of the WGC Matchplay in 2000. Following 6 years with Darren Clarke and 2 with Sergio Garcia, Billy went on to have a very successful spell as caddie for Lee Westwood.
As well as discussing the important role a caddy plays in professional golf, Billy will also be sharing his fantastic personal anecdotes and unique insights from his years spent on tour.
